Welcome to Legends Library. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Legends Library, including our website, AI-generated responses, source-grounded historical tools, accounts, subscriptions, and related features.
By using Legends Library, you agree to these Terms.
What Legends Library Is
Legends Library is an educational, commentary, and entertainment platform that uses AI to generate source-grounded interpretations of how historical and public figures may have reasoned about modern and historical questions.
Outputs are AI-generated reconstructions. They are not real statements, endorsements, communications, or authorized messages from the people depicted.
Accounts
You may need an account to use certain features.
You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the service, attempt to bypass limits, or create legal, security, or operational risk.
Free and Premium Plans
Legends Library may offer free and paid plans.
Free plans may include daily usage limits, limited access to figures, and limited saved history.
Premium plans may include additional features such as unlimited standard questions, Historical Council Mode, Debate Mode, saved conversations, shareable answer pages, PDF exports, early access to new figures, and hot-topic drops.
Premium features, pricing, and limits may change over time.
Fair Use Limits
"Unlimited standard questions" means ordinary personal use of standard single-figure questions, subject to reasonable fair-use limits.
High-compute features, including Historical Council Mode, Debate Mode, large exports, unusually long conversations, automated usage, or excessive repeated requests, may be limited, throttled, or capped to keep the service fast, reliable, and sustainable.
You may not use scripts, bots, automation, scraping, account sharing, or other methods to bypass usage limits.
Billing and Cancellation
Paid subscriptions are billed through our payment processor.
By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. You may cancel anytime. Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically refund prior charges unless otherwise stated.
If we offer a founding member price, promotional price, or discount, that pricing may apply only under the stated conditions.
Refunds
If Legends Library offers a refund period, the refund terms will be stated on the pricing or checkout page.
We may deny refunds in cases of abuse, excessive use, fraud, chargeback abuse, violation of these Terms, or attempts to extract protected materials from the service.
Acceptable Use and Safety Rules
You agree not to use Legends Library to create, request, upload, share, or distribute content that:
- Breaks the law or encourages others to break the law
- Threatens, harasses, intimidates, abuses, defames, or targets another person or group
- Promotes, praises, instructs, or facilitates violence, terrorism, extremist activity, or physical harm
- Provides instructions for weapons, explosives, biological, chemical, radiological, or nuclear harm, or other dangerous activities
- Encourages self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or other serious personal harm
- Sexualizes, exploits, endangers, grooms, or targets minors in any way
- Requests or generates child sexual abuse material, whether real, fictional, AI-generated, or implied
- Requests erotic, pornographic, sexually explicit, or non-consensual sexual content
- Requests sexual violence, coercion, exploitation, or abuse
- Facilitates criminal activity, including fraud, scams, theft, evasion, trafficking, stalking, extortion, or evading law enforcement
- Requests malicious cyber activity, including hacking, credential theft, malware, phishing, system compromise, or bypassing security protections
- Attempts to collect, expose, infer, or distribute private, sensitive, biometric, financial, medical, or identifying information about another person without authorization
- Impersonates another person or falsely suggests affiliation with an estate, foundation, institution, campaign, publisher, company, or rights holder
- Creates or spreads false, misleading, or deceptive content, including fake quotes, fake endorsements, manipulated historical claims, or fabricated source citations
- Uses AI-generated outputs for political campaigning, targeted persuasion, voter suppression, election misinformation, lobbying, or other regulated political activity
- Seeks legal, medical, financial, psychological, religious, political campaign, or other professional advice in a way that requires a licensed or qualified professional
- Attempts to extract, reconstruct, bulk-download, or reproduce copyrighted works, source libraries, prompts, system instructions, or protected service materials
- Uses scripts, bots, automation, scraping, account sharing, or technical workarounds to bypass usage limits, moderation systems, payment requirements, or access controls
- Attempts to reverse engineer, attack, overload, disrupt, or interfere with Legends Library or its service providers
Legends Library may refuse, filter, remove, limit, or moderate content that violates these rules or creates legal, safety, reputational, security, or operational risk.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, attempt to bypass safeguards, misuse outputs, or use the service in a way that could harm other users, rights holders, the public, or Legends Library.
Historical and Educational Discussion
Legends Library may allow discussion of difficult historical topics, including war, racism, crime, sexuality, religion, political conflict, extremist movements, and violence, when the purpose is educational, analytical, critical, or historical.
However, users may not use that historical context as a pretext to request instructions, encouragement, praise, recruitment, exploitation, sexual content, harassment, illegal activity, or real-world harm.
We may interpret borderline requests based on context, user behavior, safety risk, and the purpose of the request.
Sharing Outputs
You may share Legends Library responses, screenshots, excerpts, and links for commentary, education, discussion, criticism, and non-commercial purposes.
When sharing outputs, you must preserve the context that the response is AI-generated and source-grounded. You may not present outputs as real statements by the figure.
Commercial use, republication at scale, resale, dataset creation, or use of outputs to train competing systems requires written permission from Legends Library.
Source Materials
Legends Library may use public-domain, licensed, lawfully acquired, user-provided, or otherwise permitted materials to build source libraries.
Quoted excerpts are intended to be brief, attributed, and used for commentary, education, research, and analysis.
You may not use the service as a substitute for purchasing, licensing, or accessing original works.
User Content
You are responsible for the questions, prompts, files, comments, and other content you submit.
By submitting content, you grant Legends Library the rights needed to process, store, display, and generate responses from that content for the purpose of operating and improving the service.
Private conversations are not published unless you choose to share them or make them public.
Public or shared conversations may be displayed, indexed, featured, or used to create examples, public pages, trending question lists, or promotional materials.
AI Outputs
AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, unsupported, or inappropriate. Legends Library uses retrieval, citations, confidence labels, and verification steps to improve quality, but no AI system is perfect.
You are responsible for evaluating outputs and cited sources before relying on or sharing them.
No Professional Advice
Legends Library is not a substitute for professional advice.
The service does not provide legal, financial, medical, psychological, religious, political campaign, or other professional advice.
Intellectual Property
Legends Library owns or licenses the website, design, branding, software, prompts, systems, workflows, source-library organization, and other service materials.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative services from Legends Library except as allowed by these Terms.
Rights-Holder Concerns
Rights holders may contact us with concerns about source materials, attribution, excerpts, likeness, or other issues.

Service Changes

Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the service, misuse outputs, abuse usage limits, or use Legends Library in a way that could harm other users, rights holders, or the company.
Disclaimers
Legends Library is provided "as is" and "as available."
We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, complete, secure, or available at all times.
We do not guarantee that any AI-generated response is historically correct, legally safe to reuse, or suitable for your specific purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legends Library and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, partners, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If we make material changes, we may notify users through the website, email, or account notices.
Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
