Deleting Your Data
Last updated: September 5, 2026
You can delete your Legends Library account and its data at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what is removed.
Delete your account yourself
This is the fastest route and takes effect immediately.
1. Sign in at [legendslibrary.ai/login](https://legendslibrary.ai/login). 2. Go to [Account](https://legendslibrary.ai/account). 3. Under Your data, choose Delete account. 4. Confirm when asked.
If you signed up with Google or Facebook, use that same button to sign in, then follow the identical steps.
Ask us to delete it for you
If you cannot sign in — a lost password, a closed email address, or a social account you no longer control — email info@legendslibrary.ai from the address on the account, or tell us which account to remove. We will confirm once it is done.
What deletion removes
Deleting your account removes:
- Your profile, including display name and avatar
- Your saved conversations and their messages
- Your account's link to Google or Facebook, where one exists
- Your source requests and their contact details
Any active subscription is cancelled automatically as part of the deletion, so you are not billed again.
Take a copy first
Deletion cannot be undone. If you want your conversations, export them before deleting: on the [Account](https://legendslibrary.ai/account) page, under Your data, choose Export all conversations (JSON).
What may remain
Some information can survive deletion of your account, and we would rather say so plainly:
- Backups. Copies persist in routine database backups until those age out on their normal schedule.
- Payment records. Invoices and transaction records are kept where tax and accounting law requires it. These are held by our payment processor, Stripe, not in your account.
- Logs and abuse prevention. Server logs and records relating to abuse or security may be retained where deletion is not technically or legally practical.
- Shared pages. Anything you deliberately published or shared with a public link may remain reachable if it has been copied or indexed elsewhere.
